Biography:
Newton "Newt" Artemis Fido Scamander is a magizoologist and the main protagonist of the film *Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them* (2016).
Born in 1897, Newt developed an early fascination with magical creatures, fueled by his mother's breeding of hippogriffs. This passion led him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he was sorted into Hufflepuff. While at Hogwarts, he was expelled (though Albus Dumbledore vouched for him) after taking the blame for an incident involving a magical creature that endangered a student.
Following his expulsion, Newt joined the Ministry of Magic, working in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. He eventually left the Ministry to pursue his research and write his acclaimed book, *Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them*, a compendium of magical creatures and their habitats. He travels the world studying them, and later becomes a prominent figure in the wizarding world, known for his extensive knowledge and conservation efforts.
